# Quick Start

In order to trade on the Openpeer platform (app.openpeer.xyz) we recommend doing the following:

1. [Install a Compatible Self-Custody Wallet (Metamask etc).](/openpeer-docs/getting-started/installing-a-self-custodial-wallet.md)
2. Create an Account
3. Get a Quote
4. Place Your First Trade
